CAW and PSAC represented
employees will vote to choose consolidated Union – more details to follow
This morning the
Canadian Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) agreed with the CAW that a unified
bargaining structure of CAW Local 2002 and PSAC Locals 4 & 5 is the appropriate
configuration for the future. Also agreeing with the CAW, the CIRB ordered that
a vote of all affected employees at the GTAA will occur so members can have a
direct say as to which union will best represent their interests into the
future.
